    Calibrand are teaming up with learndirect to exhibit at the Federation of Awarding Bodies conference at Chesford Grange, near Warwick, UK. Find out more in the Press Release.

    BOHS Partnership

    The British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) has signed a 5-year contract with Calibrand to deliver integrated e-assessment solutions for its qualifications.

    Calibrand is integrating its e-Assessment software solutions, Calibrand Test and Marker, with BOHS’s existing examination management processes for its Faculty of Occupational Hygiene in a three-phase implementation.

    Calibrand has teamed up with the Tenet Group, one of the largest IFA networks in the UK, to offer the Diploma in Professional Financial Advice to the Group’s members.

    Assessment Tomorrow 2010

    Calibrand shows good practice and experience in e-Assessment Solutions at the Assessment Tomorrow conference.

    Calibrand’s Denis Saunders will present to the conference on the development of the Diploma in Professional Financial Advice, created in partnership with the SQA and delivered via a portable e-Assessment solution.

    Mind the gap-fill!

    Denis Saunders (Managing Director, Calibrand) and Lucy Courtenay (Education Director, IFP) spoke at the IFP Scottish Conference in Edinburgh on the 16th of November.

    Many advisers would prefer not to do examinations if they can avoid it. For RDR-compliant qualifications such as the Diploma in Professional Financial Advice a gap-fill is possible but adviser beware!

    The session, titled Mind the gap-fill! How to make sure you are 100% RDR compliant, examined the dangers and pitfalls of gap-fill.

    Calibrand is pleased to release a free chapter of our training material for RDR (PDF) taken from our Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics training material. This chapter is available free to all, so feel free to pass it on your friends and colleagues.

    European ATP Conference Update

    Calibrand hosted a workshop on exam security at the inaugural European Association of Test Publishers (E-ATP) conference at the Hotel Metropole in Brussels on October 1th 2009. The workshop was entitled 'Preserving the Integrity of the Currency for Talent, Using Double Factor Authentication to Prevent Counterfeiting'.
